Leonardo Bonucci intends to see out his contract with Juventus but admits that his future is in the hands of the club.

The centre-back was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City and Chelsea last year but no move materialised and he signed a contract extension until 2021 in December.

However, the 29-year-old's future has again come under scrutiny following a blazing touchline row with coach Massimiliano Allegri that saw him dropped from the squad for the 2-0 Champions League victory away to Porto.

Although Bonucci insists that he and Allegri have buried the hatchet, he has suggested that the club will have the final decision on any possible transfer amid links with Chelsea and Manchester City.

When asked about rumours linking him and Allegri to the Premier League, he told the media: "I don't know if the boss will go to the Premier League, but I'm owned by this club and the club will decide whether or not to sell me. I hope to honour the contract."

He continued: "I clarified things face to face with Allegri, I accepted his decision, I will pay for a dinner for the team next week. Things are now even better than they were before.

"You need to take the positives from anything negative and it brought the group further together.

"The morning after was worse than the night before. As far as I was concerned, it ended out there on the pitch and the coach felt the same way, but then there's a group that needs to be taken into account and the coach has to decide things for the good of the group."

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici contradicted Bonucci's view, however, by claiming that the Italy international will have the final say on his future.

"What matters is what the player wants," Paratici said.
