Famous actor Robert De Niro has teamed up with World Mercury Project Chairman Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to pose a significant challenge to anyone.
Complete the task and you win $100,000. All you’ve got to do is prove that mercury is safe to inject into babies.
What’s the point, you ask? Well, according to Collective Evolution, De Niro and Kennedy are fighting back against the notion pushed by pharmaceutical companies that mercury is totally safe to inject into babies.
The common argument, as stated in this FDA article, is that small amounts of mercury cause no damage to infants.
The World Mercury Project, of course, disagrees. According to the group’s website, the organization was created with the goal of seeing “a world free of the devastating effects of mercury.”
Vaccines have been a prime target for the organization since its conception.
Their latest move – supported by Robert De Niro – is a sort of grand stand, daring proponents of vaccines to counter statements like the following, which comes from the journal Bio Med Research International.
The studies on which the [pro-mercury vaccine] CDC relies on and over which it exerted some level of control report that there is no increased risk of autism from exposure to organic Hg in vaccines, and some of these studies even reported that exposure to Thimerosal appeared to decrease the risk of autism.
These six studies are in sharp contrast to research conducted by independent researchers over the past 75+ years that have consistently found Thimerosal to be harmful. As mentioned in the Introduction section, many studies conducted by independent investigators have found Thimerosal to be associated with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Considering that there are many studies conducted by independent researchers which show a relationship between Thimerosal and neurodevelopmental disorders, the results of the six studies examined in this review, particularly those showing the protective effects of Thimerosal, should bring into question the validity of the methodology used in the studies.”
