Leroy Sane: Adds second for City
Manchester City deepened Sunderland’s relegation worries as they ran out 2-0 winners at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
Sergio Aguero got the first for the visitors, who move up to third with the win above Liverpool, as he struck minutes before the break.
Leroy Sane doubled City’s lead a minute before the hour mark with a measured finish in off the far post.
Sunderland’s best chance came from a long-range Jermain Defoe effort which struck the post, while the striker also had a header ruled out for offside as the Black Cats stay bottom.
