Chelsea: Celebrate Diego Costa's goal

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa scored in either half as Chelsea reasserted their 10-point lead at the Premier League summit with a hard-fought 2-1 win over West Ham at the London Stadium.

Antonio Conte’s side opened the scoring after 25 minutes when N’Golo Kante broke up a West Ham attack and a swift counter saw Pedro play in Hazard, who rounded Darren Randolph to fire home.

West Ham had their moments but Chelsea doubled their lead just five minutes into the restart when the ball fell kindly to Costa in the penalty area following a corner.

Manuel Lanzini scored a consolation goal for the Hammers in added time but there was no sting in the tail as Chelsea, who were recently held on their travels at Burnley and Liverpool, returned to winning ways on the road.
