Nathan Hughes will start ahead of Billy Vunipola for England against Scotland in the Six Nations
England had made a number of changes to the backline ahead of the game against Italy with Danny Care, Ben Te’o and James Haskell all coming into the starting line-up.
Italy attempted to end England’s unbeaten run by employing the unusual tactic of refusing to contest rucks, allowing them to disrupt Care’s distribution.
But after trailing at half-time, the defending Six Nations champions recovered with six tries in total to win 36-15.

Nevertheless, Eddie Jones has elected to restore Ben Youngs, Jack Nowell and Jonathan Joseph to the side while Billy Vunipola seals his return to the bench having spent more than three months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

“We had two excellent training runs in Oxford last week and followed that up this week.
“We’re focused on ourselves – we want to give our fans a really good performance.
“We’ve worked hard in this Six Nations and feel like a good performance is just around the corner.”
