The Italy international limped off just before halftime of the Reds' trip to face the Philadelphia Union.

Sebastian Giovinco exited Toronto FC's trip to face the Philadelphia Union on Saturday with a leg injury after absorbing a rough tackle from Oguchi Onyewu.

The Italy international limped off the field in first-half stoppage time at Talen Energy Stadium, with Tosaint Ricketts replacing him up top. Giovinco appeared to be favoring his right quad and the team later announced he had suffered a leg contusion.

Jozy Altidore drew a penalty on the subsequent free kick, and the U.S. striker converted to make it 1-1 after Jay Simpson's 11th-minute opener for Philadelphia.
